A winning poster has asked me to possibly sub for him, as he may not be able to attend. I'd get paid, then pay the poster should it win, pending approval of RX management.

I never heard of over 8 decks

BJ can often be 6-5, thought I read 1-1 somewhere with the "dealertainers".

Shuffle or not could matter to a counter, if good enough to make subtle changes, some hands are a very close call... like hitting 16 vs. 10.

Most hands are clearly correctly played one way, head to head against the dealer off of a new shuffle, but it becomes more variant if the cards run to the 12th place hand and beyond.

It might be a good time for RX management to iron out rules on some fine points in advance, for example :

A guy with a $500 hand gets 6,6 vs. dealer 6

he pulls out $500 and splits

makes a 6-3-10 for 19 on first hand
makes a 6-2-10 for 18 on 2nd hand
dealer makes 6-2-10 for 18 on dealer hand

Does player get push and win and walk with $500, if he desires ?

Better get some rules together that foresee situations, IMO !

he isn't describing a push. He is describing a one unit win. I would imagine that as long as the RX gets its $500 stake back...you get to keep the rest. If you split and double on both hands and win you win 3 units ($1500)

Winners will have the stake put up by The Rx. and will be allowed to keep any winnings.

In the event of a loss the player is not out any money for the hand.
In the event of a win the player keeps the winnings and the Rx. retains the original stake money.

The hands will be dealt by Imperial Palace Dealertainer "ELVIS" in the high roller pit of The Imperial Palace Casino.

Six deck shoe.
Blackjack pays 3 to 2.
Double down on any two cards.
You can only split once.
No splitting aces.
No Surrender.
doubledown or split with your own money.
Pushes play another hand until decision is reached one way or another.
